WELCOME

It is our joy at First Pres. to share the love and grace of God found in Jesus Christ.

We gather in joyful worship on Sunday mornings (10:30 am) and evenings (6:00 pm), to hear Bible preaching and to praise God with a variety of musical styles. We have Sunday School for all ages at 9:00 am. On Wednesday evenings we meet for prayer from 7:00 pm until 8:00 pm. May the Lord bless you richly as you seek to serve Him.

Our Church

Our church has a number of different ministries and committees for members to be involved in. We also have small group Bible studies and Sunday School before worship services each week.

Our Mission

We are dedicated to glorifying God by worshipping Him, caring for His people, training people in righteousness, and reaching people both in Schenectady and around the world with the transforming message of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our Vision

We desire to be a Christ-centered, Bible teaching, Spirit-filled, praying church where people grow deeply in God’s Word in personal, small group, and corporate worship and serve Christ by serving others.

We do this by faith, with thanksgiving, acknowledging our continual need for Christ’s transforming power to redeem us from our brokenness.
